A Martial Arts Program Built on Real Technique

Unlike “cardio kickboxing” programs that prioritize aerobic workouts over technique, our classes are rooted in authentic martial arts. Students learn proper form, timing, and practical self-defense applications. Instructors consistently monitor and adjust technique so each student can progress safely and confidently.

Our coaches bring decades of combined experience, including professional competition, and are committed to developing well-rounded martial artists, not just athletes.

Our Story

Train together. Grow together

For over a decade, Rothwell MMA has been a supportive and family-friendly gym where students of all ages build confidence, discipline, and real self-defense skills. What began as a small training space has grown into a community. It is a place where kids, teens, and adults train together, encourage one another, and push toward their goals.

From the beginning, Rothwell MMA has followed the Bushido Code as the foundation of our teaching. Each class focuses on one of its principles: Integrity, Respect, Courage, Honor, Compassion, Honesty, and Loyalty. Students learn how to apply these values in their martial arts journey and in everyday life.

At Rothwell MMA, martial arts training goes beyond technique. Every class includes a lesson from the Bushido Code, the traditional code of honor for Samurai warriors. These seven principles guide how we train, how we treat one another, and how students grow both on and off the mats.

  • Doing the right thing in training and life.

  • Treating teammates, coaches, and opponents with courtesy.

  • Facing challenges with confidence and determination.

  • Upholding high standards in everything we do.

  • Helping and supporting others in their journey.

  • Being truthful with ourselves and those around us.

  • Committing to the team, the gym, and personal goals.
