Not at all. Most members begin with zero martial arts or fitness background. Our beginner-friendly classes help you learn at your own pace in a safe, supportive environment.
All new students start in a beginner-level class so instructors can teach fundamentals and evaluate your skill level. When you're ready, coaches will invite you into advanced classes.
Yes! Every new student can take a free trial class. Reserve your spot on our Free Trial page.
Arrive 10 minutes early so we can meet you, answer questions, and help you get situated.
Wear comfortable workout clothing (no zippers, no metal). For Kickboxing/MMA, bring water and be prepared to train barefoot. A uniform is not required for trial classes.
- Comfortable athletic clothing - A water bottle - Bare feet are typical for class, so no special footwear is needed - Loaner equipment and gis are provided for the first trial class.
We provide loaner gear for your first trial class. The one-time enrollment fee includes everything you need for class. Kickboxing requires boxing gloves, shin pads, class t-shirt, belt rank. BJJ requires team gi, recommended mouthguard and athletic cup.
2 classes is most common. Train when you can. the more you come, the faster you progress
Most classes are 60 minutes. You can find specific class times in the schedule. You're always welcome to take breaks and watch. Go at your own pace!
